Question of the week: Sweet tooth

I’ve been craving chocolate cake (with or without flan on top, fine by me) or cupcakes. And yes, that might be a hint.

La Pregunta: Do you have a sweet tooth? What’s your weakness?

  1. That flan cake looks good! But I don’t have a sweet tooth, I can go with friends to Scoops and not get anything. I can take a bite or taste, and that’s enough for me.

  2. I don’t have much of a sweet tooth. I’ve always said that given a choice between a big slice of gooey chocolate cake and a freshly out of the oven piece of french bread, the bread would win every time. Such a downfall. 😀

  3. I’ve never had much of a sweet tooth (I hated sweets as a kid) but I like the ocassional faloodeh (rosewater rice noodles in ice slush topped with lemon syrup) and zoolbiya and bamiyeh (deep-fried golden syrupy pastries).

And sometimes, I really crave a fresh, warm doughnut. Oh, and mochi! I love mochi. Oh, and fresh churros too!

Okay, maybe I like sweets more than I’d like to admit, lol.

  4. I have a weakness for ANYTHING sweet!

Mmmmm, I haven’t thought about a chocoflan in a long time. thanks for reminding me!

Yes, love sweets, but not like the crazy overload type things they do at coldstone… recently i’ve been in the mood for cheesecake

  6. mo says:

Uno dos tres “CHO” uno dos tres “CO” uno dos “LA” uno dos tres “TE”
    CHOCOLATE CHOCOLATE DAME DAME CHOCOLATE!!!!!!
I love anything chocolate, brownies, cakes, men….
with chocolate frosting is even better!

  7. Momo says:

Generally it’s milk chocolates or plain new york cheesecake from Yoshinoya. But this summer the sweet craving has been raspados de coco and horchata de coco… so fresh and so yummy… mmmm

  8. Schoko-bons are probably my greatest weakness. Fortunately, you can’t really find them outside of Europe. Good thing friends are constantly bringing my girlfriend treats just about every month.
