I missed National Delurking week, which is supposedly the second week of January. I have an excuse. My computer was broken.
For those unfamiliar with the term, a lurker is “a person who reads discussions on a message board, newsgroup, chatroom, file sharing or other interactive system, but rarely participates” (source: wikipedia).
If you’re a lurker*, leave a comment. You can write whatever you want, but if you need a prompt, here’s some ideas: recommend something (a book, film, song/album, website, blog, whatever); tell me about yourself (where are you from? what do you do?); tell me why you love/like/hate Lotería Chicana.

Um, I wouldn’t call it endorse. But I’m still trying to figure out who to support come Tuesday Jan 5th. I’m not sure I’ll put my pick here not because I shy away from politics, but simply because I’m not sure I can currently articulate all the reasons why i lean toward a certain candidate.

Thanks for spreading the word. I thought about going to grad school for college counseling, but ultimately decided I had different career goals. I missed counseling a lot my first year back in grad school and eventually made my way back to it (sorta). It’s pretty cool to see your former students graduate and thank you for being a core part of their success.
